Forever Earth Users How to Schedule FAQ

WELCOME! Thank you for your interest in the Forever Earth program!

Forever Earth, a 70-foot houseboat, is a floating classroom and research center located on Lake Mead. It is available for student field trips, educators, researchers, and others interested in hands-on science activities and water science and monitoring. The program's educational curriculum covers water quality, fish and fish habitats, impacts of invasive species, and much more—all in direct contact with water resources in a natural setting. Five years of professional program evaluation has shown improved student knowledge, attitude, and behavior as a result of participating in the program. In 2010 alone, more than 5,000 participants took part in the Forever Earth learning experience.

Within this website, you will find information about how Forever Earth came into existence and its primary purposes; curriculum and how to schedule an educational experience for your class; how to schedule the vessel for research use; what equipment is on board; and additional resources and links. See you aboard!
